The UF-13 Dark is part of the Liga Privada Único Series from Drew Estate. Like all Único Serie cigars, it features a unique size and blend all its own. The UF-13 Dark uses stalk-cut tobaccos, in where the tobacco is cured while still attached to the base of the plant; which allows the tobacco to feed off the plant longer, giving it stronger flavors.

The name UF-13 Dark can be broken down to mean: “Único Fuerte”, “13” (the factory number), and “Dark” (unique high Broadleaf Mediums used for the wrapper).

The cigar features a unique cap, combining a pigtail and a fan-style cap.

    Specifics:
    Manufacturer:
    Drew Estate
    Country: Nicaragua
    Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf Dark Mediums
Binder: Plantation Grown Brazilian Mata Fina
Filler: Honduran & Nicaraguan Cuban Seed
    Strength: Full
    Packaging: Boxes of 12
    MSRP: $13.95/$167.40

    Vitolas:
    5.5 x 52 (robusto)

    Yes - I've had that

    My tasting notes
    Smell:
    Leather & Light chocolate
    Prelight: Chocolate
Flavors: chocolate (again), coffee, malt, cracked pepper, savory meat (and spices), and anise.
Retrohale: roasted coffee beans - rich, dark chocolate

Like all Liga cigars, this thing smokes and smokes, it literally billows out your nose and mouth, something I really like. The construction is great and the draw just about perfect. A great cigar.

    I've Had That!

I was lucky enough to get an early sample of the UF-13. These things are not cheap but you get your monies worth because they burn for 2 hours. :)

    I'VE HAD THAT!!

This stick pumps out the smoke! Like the Liga Privada No. 9, it has a richness of flavor unmatched by any other brand. It doesn't seem too big but it'll smoke forever...

In fact I had it 2hrs ago!

I get some dark spices on the first third, mixed w/ a deep chocolate. Then starting on the 2nd third boom molasses! The last third its all of it but very balanced, yet medium strong. The UF-13 is a choo - choo train!

The UF-13 is my favorite cigar of 2013 & in my opinion the best cigar to date produced by Drew Estates.

I personally love the profile & strength this Nicaraguan beauty brings to the table. The
UF-13 truly fits me and what I look for in a cigar. In my opinion the UF-13 isn't exactly a anytime of day smoke. I feel it's a great choice as a evening cigar after dinner. With a smoke time around the 2hr mark, it's a solid stick to kick your feet up and relax.

Thankfully the 2 shops in my town carry the LP line of cigars so they're plentiful and this one is well worth the price.

    I've had that!

Had construction issues that made it darn near unsmokeable. Cap cracked bad, so did wrapper... I'm hoping I go a dud. Got a couple resting.

Probably worth a shot... I've just rarely have draw issues with the V... I'm kind of stuck on it but I'll give it a shot. I tend to over wet the foot with my tongue, which may be part of the problem... No need to comment Jae, I know you're out there.

You over wet the head or the foot? How would anything at the foot cause the cap to crack?

Sorry, I'm lex-dysic... I meant the head, specifically the remainder of the cap.

    I've had that.

All around great cigar. Probably my favorite LP. Always has great bold flavors and spot on construction.
